    - похоже на то. Когда лежит свой сайт, тянет пойти еще куда-то. В ЖЖ.
    То, что анекдот.ру упал - наверно, совпадение. Хотя вчера были угрозы хакерских атак, в том числе опубликованные в комментариях. Рассматривать это падение как знак? Не знаю. Я не знаю. Какая разница, сколько человек высказалось "за", а сколько "против". Это не решается голосованием.

    Dear Mr. Brill and personnel of School:

    My name is Alex Fridlyand, Ph.D.. I live in Los Angeles. I am Russian
    immigrant and live in the USA since 1991. I am proud to be an American
    Citizen.

    I am looking for Mr. Verner. I know that he worked for your department
    in 1999-2000. He is an owner of the Internet Website www.ANEKDOT.ru -
    one of the most popular Russian portal of jokes and anecdotes.
    I admired that site for many years. However, over the last two days the
    website became a place for all dirty Russian people to post hate
    messages against Americans. Let me assure you that their messages do not
    reflect the opinion of the majority of Russian people.

    Many people asked Mr.Verner to remove anti American jokes from his site,
    but he refused stating a freedom of speech. I would like to contact his
    co-workers in the USA and notify them that Mr.Verner is taking advantage
    of American Universities and at the same time celebrating the tragedy...
    I am a taxpayer and this year alone paid more taxes in the USA than
    perhaps Mr. Verner will make in his entire life. Obviously I do not want
    him to take advantage of my nation at my cost hiding at the State
    University or at NASA, where I have reasons to believe he is working
    now.

    Please find my letter to him below. He never replied on it.
    I would appreciate your help in helping me to locate his new place of
    work. I feel dirty doing it, but someone has to be doing a cleaning job.
    This is my way of contributing in our common struggle.

    Dear Dmitri,

    I am against censorship. Freedom of press is sacred. It is certainly
    your choice to publish anything you wish on this website. But I am
    disappointed in the particular choice you have made to allow to publish
    some very tasteless and bad jokes about recent events in the USA.

    I am sharing with you my opinion only out of utmost respect for you and
    your website that I admire for many years.

    In my humble opinion, there is a place for joke in any circumstances. I
    have heard excellent jokes about Holocaust. They were full of optimism,
    sarcasm and hinted at contradictions. Like the movie "Life Is Beautiful"
    they brought humane warmness, optimism and light to the tragedy. But I
    do not think that even those jokes would have been appropriate the day
    when troops just entered Auschwitz to free people. There is a time for
    everything. When bodies of some people are not even buried most of the
    jokes seem very painful.

    I know that you are facing very difficult decision between preserving
    democracy and respecting people's feeling. Perhaps there is a way of
    doing both. Millions of people are struggling today to find a proper way
    to mix it together with anger and kindness. I believe that at moments
    like this, by virtue of decisions and choices we make, people determine
    their belonging to the various social clusters. I was disappointed to
    find that we belong to the different ones.

    И что это слово вообще в данном контексте означает? Переходишь по ссылке - вроде, продают обычные компьютеры.

    verner: Нынешний градус антиамериканизма - да, ожидал. Если пять лет назад практически любое немодерируемое обсуждение в гостевых книгах русского Интернета сводилось к тому, что во всем виноваты евреи, то последний год-два - что во всем виновата Америка.

    Посмотрел повтор матча Зенит - ЦСКА по ОРТ. Зенит за 5 минут забил 4 гола. Казалось бы, защита ЦСКА должна была остановиться на эти 5 минут? Да нет, играли, сопротивлялись. Или был сумасшедший темп игры? Нет, были остановки, ауты и т.д. Просто бывают в жизни минуты, когда поймаешь кураж и все получается.

    Итак, что мы имеем после 25 туров?
    1. Спартак - 50
    2. Локомотив - 48
    3. Зенит - 46

    Что мы хотим иметь в итоге?
    1. Зенит - 59
    2. Локомотив - 58
    3. Спартак - 57

    Для этого необходимо:
    - Зенит: 4 победы, 1 ничья. Ну, 5 побед было бы еще лучше, но, как говорил Вася Теркин, "я не гордый, не заглядывая вдаль, так скажу - зачем мне орден? я согласен на медаль" (золотую).
    - Локомотив: 3 победы, 1 ничья, 1 поражение.
    - Спартак: 2 победы, 1 ничья, 2 поражения.
